back to school packet

Lately, I have had the itch to get back to work... ::sigh:: I keep hearing all these teachers talking about summer winding down and that means it's time to get in to back to school mode. Since I am no where NEAR my classroom (1,000 miles away actually) and can't be productive in that manner... I have been busy plugging away on the computer making some tweaks to some things that I stole (borrowed) from the first grade parade.

Here are a few things that I have finished for the beginning of the year. They are a little squished together being in jpg format, but you get the picture :) Our theme this year is sports/Olympics/Team:

 

 

 

What's the BUZZ?

Drumroll.... Welcome to the first grade BUZZ! Guess that makes this the first official post for our new classroom blog. Yay! I have visited so many different teacher blogs lately and personally flirted with the idea during the 2010-2011 school year. All that to say, I finally decided to get on board! This will be year number four (can't believe it) for me and I am excited to be online sharing what we will be doing this year! But first... I suppose I should let summer run it's course! :)
